Leveraging the Power of Learning

D-PAN believes that creating educational opportunities is a fundamental obligation for the organization. Therefore, in the near future, D-PAN will be announcing two scholarship programs designed to advance this commitment. The scholarships, named for the co-founders of the organization, are:

-The Sean Forbes Scholarship – this scholarship will be awarded to Individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and pursuing / planning to pursue a degree or certification at an accredited institution in the field of entertainment, visual arts or media arts.

-The Joel (Bacow) Martin Scholarship - this scholarship will be awarded to hearing individuals pursuing a full certification or degree in American Sign Language (ASL) at an accredited ITP (Interpreter Training Program) school or university.

Our goal is to award a minimum of $50,000 in scholarships per year – D-PAN hopes to have your support in making this goal a reality.
